Screshot for business
A screenshot tool your security team can say yes to
Give every employee fast capture, annotation and blur, without sending a single image to a third party. Deploy it company-wide with the Chrome policies you already manage.
Why IT approves it
Designed to pass a security review
No customer data processed
Screenshots are created and edited inside the browser. Nothing reaches Screshot, so there is no vendor storage to assess.
3 narrow permissions
activeTab, scripting and contextMenus. No host permissions, no access to browsing history, no install warnings.
Nothing to provision
No accounts, SSO, SCIM or licenses. Install it for a group and it works the same for everyone.
Managed with tools you already use
Force-install, pin or remove it through Chrome policies. Updates arrive automatically from the Chrome Web Store.
Compared with cloud screenshot tools
Less to review, less to manage
| Typical cloud screenshot tool | Screshot | |
|---|---|---|
| Screenshots stored on vendor servers | Usually | Never |
| Shareable public links that can leak | Often | None |
| User accounts and SSO to set up | Required | Not needed |
| Vendor data-processing review | Required | No customer data processed |
| Cost per seat | Paid plans | Free |
